Also 2005 MATERNA Information & Communications will be presented at 3GSM World Congress in Cannes with its telecommunications brand Anny Way (hall 2, stand F18). From 14. to 17. February the international leading telecommunications specialist will present its product and service novelties for mobile and fixnet operators - themed „Stay in touch with Tomorrow!“. On time with the show MATERNA will started a new service into the U.S. and Canadian markets.
MATERNA has created a single interface for European third party companies to implement premium content -- ringtones, images, games, chat services and promotions -- across virtually all handset types, applications, and U.S. and Canadian carrier networks.
With MACS, Mobile Application and Content Server, MATERNA has developed an efficient infrastructure for mobile services. The system provides all the technology for despatch and delivery of any kind of mobile data, such as SMS and MMS related services, J2ME, ring tones, logos or other data formats, i.e. MP3 or videos. Numerous renowned companies, such as Siemens and AOL, are already working with MACS.

MATERNA and Comfone, leading provider of global mobile value-added roaming services, today announced the extension of its MMS eXchange (MMSX) service to content providers and content aggregators. The development will simplify the provision of content to mobile operators, utilising existing infrastructure at no extra cost.
