Anny Way Mobile Data Gateway nominated for Global Messaging Award

The 160characters Association, one of the leading not-for-profit membership forum for mobile messaging professionals, has announced today the short list for the 2005 Global Messaging Award. The judges have selected the Anny Way Mobile Data Gateway developed by MATERNA in the category “Best SMS/MMS network infrastructure or platform”. Awarded for the product that enhanced the existing messaging network. This service will provide greater volume capacity, security or reliability. One major advantage of the Anny Way solution is that it is the first WAP gateway representing the WAP 2.0 standard which supports the new protocol stacks WP TCP and WP HTTP as well the currently used WAP standard.

The winners will be announced at the Awards Ceremony on 15th June in London.
160characters received more than 110 entries from 23 countries on 5 continents reflecting the global nature of the industry.
