MATERNA’s Service Delivery Platform MACS with new features for even more entertainment

MACS gives network operators, ISP’s, portals, the music industry and companies the possibility to offer their customers regional specific content in all countries: the platform offers every technology to provide and to send all sorts of mobile data, e.g. SMS and MMS related service, J2ME, ringtones, logos, binary or streamed content or other data formats. During the 3GSM World Congress in Barcelona, MATERNA presents three new applications for MACS in hall 2, level 0, Stand 2C12.
Text2Video – Let your star record your message
With Anny Way Text2Video, MATERNA shows a solution which enables the user to have a text message transformed into a video MMS. The message is presented to the receiver through a selected character. The handling could not be easier: The sender selects a character from a specific website, enters a text with any amount of characters and the addressee’s mobile number. The message will then not only be phonetically transformed into synthetic language, but also characteristics like accents, pauses and the sense of the message are comprised. These data is necessary in order to implement the non-verbal expression of the selected character. Facial expression and gesture are adapted to the message. Every sort of character is possible – politicians or celebrities, but also invented characters can present the message.
Anny Way Text2Video is available either as a hosted or a licensed solution. Target groups are network operators and content providers, who want to offer their customers a messaging service with high entertainment value.
WAP-Shop – a guarantee for an individual appearance
As from today, the MACS solution can also be delivered already including a White-Label WAP Shop. With only a few steps, customers like service providers, MVNO’s or companies can individually adapt the portal and among others, choose from a multitude of languages. Basic customisations to the Corporate Design are included in the service portfolio. The customer’s billing methods can be embedded with only low effort.
Being there live with Content Streaming
Visitors at the MATERNA stand can get an idea of visual real-time communication. A picture taken at the stand will be converted for the live stream connection and can then be ordered via MACS. The addressee receives a WAP-Push message. If he replies to this message, the live stream is being sent to him. The only requirement here is a Real Media support of the end device. This opens up a wide range of applications: switching on somebody to an event, diverse monitoring functions, multimedia-based advertising campaign, etc.
