New version of MATERNAs Voice Service Platform available

The Anny Way Voice Service Platform (VSP) provides a myriad of possibilities for realization of intelligent speech technology applications. Version 5.0 makes it possible to completely configure the VSP via Internet, thus, enabling the administrator to set up and adapt the platform in an easy and efficient way. The new version includes the feature “Conferencing“, offering the possibility to play in background music or noises, independently, during a conversation.
The efficient VSP from MATERNA constitutes the base for numerous applications, from services, over Interactive Voice Response and Intelligent Peripheral (IP) in the Intelligent Network (IN), voice mail systems, speech controlled portals for information services and order processes, through to time control systems for control of bookings by means of a desktop telephone. In addition to that, the VSP can be used to forward calls within internal telephone networks, e. g. through automatic participant functions, or as a part of an authorization system for PIN (Personal Identification Number) requests. Moreover, it is capable of receiving and sending fax messages, which meet the current technical standards. Therefore, the platform can also be used as a facility to send and retrieve faxes.
The Voice Service Platform can integrate flexibly into established environments and connect with existing applications, e.g. over VoiceXML interface. Using SMTP, file or SQL interface, data is made accessible over the VUI (Voice User Interface). The platform is connected with the telephone network over ISDN, the wireless operators´ signalling protocol, SS7, or Voice-over-IP (VoIP).
