SMS service for Arcor fixed line

The Anny Way fixed line SMS Service is now available as a new service for Arcor customers, allowing for quick and reliable sending and receiving of short messages from the Arcor fixed line. This fixed line service enables the subscriber to send and receive short messages from one to another national fixed line telephone, to a national wireless connection or e-mail account.

If the addressee’s telephone cannot receive text messages, the short message will automatically be delivered in form of a speech message, being read out to the recipient. Furthermore, there is the possibility to send a SMS from the fixed line to an e-mail account or any national wireless connection. The short messages will be routed over the SMS center of the Dortmund based MATERNA Information & Communications.
The minimum price for the sending of a message from the fixed line is 9 Euro Cents per SMS, which will be automatically billed via the monthly telephone invoice. For more information and prices, please visit www.sms-im-festnetz.de.
